This regional role will collaborate closely with centralized corporate HR functional area managers to provide leadership and support for the effective employment and engagement of our people within a defined region. The HR Administrator serves as an active member of a corporate team of professionals and is primarily responsible for leading the identification and delivery of successful corporate level strategies at the regional level; to optimize the attraction, engagement, and performance of our employees in line with company objectives.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct weekly new hire orientation, harassment prevention training, administer benefits programs, and policies and procedures.
- Serves as a liaison between employees, departments and senior management.
- Manage onboarding process for new hires, and lead new hire orientation to ensure all corporate policies are followed for each employee brought into the company.
- Partner as needed with HR Talent Team and Hiring managers to determine talent needs.
- Responsible for functional responsibilities in facilitating all areas on HR Disciplines
- Provide support to the RVP & Sales location management
- Serve as location point of contact and liaison to Centralized corporate shared services for all HR and employee issues
- Manage local business partnerships with Public, Private and Academia resources.
- Manage employee bonus and rewards/recognition programs.
- Manage employee compensation, benefits packages (Health benefits, 401K), and/or other HR functions.
- Monitor leaves of absences, FMLA, terminations, workers compensation and status changes.
- Utilize the HRIS (Paycom) system to track and maintain employee data.
- Manage and maintain company compliance (including tracking and reporting) as relates to I-9, E-Verify, FMLA, OSHA, Labor Law, and other Federal, State, and Local laws.
- Process and maintain new and/or current employee records.
- Advise supervisors/managers about company policies, procedures, and practices.
- Assume additional responsibilities and perform special projects as needed or directed.
- Develop strong positive working relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Regional travel required to satellite Trinity Solar locations on an as-needed basis.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology or related field is required.
- Minimum of 3+ years as a Human Resources Generalist, HR Administrator, or HR Assistant
- Proficiency in Office 365, MS-Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, HRIS systems, etc.
- Experience with Paycom HRIS is preferred.
- Must be detail-oriented, thorough, and well-organized.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Maintain professional behavior while working under pressure.
- Ability to organize/prioritize workload and to multi-task.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding payroll, benefits, and employee issues.
